The Dark Knight was THE BEST movie of 2008, I mean just WOW. I was speechless after, holy crap, crap that is holy. A must watch!

As some might've noticed from recent deviations I got my 12x12 tablet, I was so happy (even though it's huge, it's like a leech sucking the life out of my desk). Though I've been having traces of artist's block after, I need a good pose for an art trade, and it's just clogged somewhere in my brain cells.

My prints and small shop is up and running, finally.

Now for the other news:

- Just saw Hellboy II yesterday, it was awesome.
- Updated my webcam pic into something more interesting out of sheer boredom.
- V6 is pretty cool but super laggy. It's having seizures while I'm typing.
- Hopefully I can get my tablet soon, I'm falling behind in some digital pieces I need to do.
- The Ding Dong Song from Gunther is hypnotic, even though it shouldn't even legally be considered a song...

Other than that, I'm just going because I can.

Sorry for how long it's taking to get a card from the bank in order to have a Paypal account. I still haven't forgotten about that, and will update the journal again once my shop is ready. For now please try to resist from buying anything.



I can't wait till the Dark Knight comes out. I have these two free AMC tickets, so I'm planning on going in the first day and early as hell for good seats. It looks so freaken awsome! ANGST!

In other news:

An Intuos3 12x12 tablet([link]) is coming to my home soon as a very late b-day present. Oh the glory! *_*

I've also been studying a lot lately. I have two 2.5 inch thick books about Cinema 4d I've been reading and taking notes for. Then playing about in the program as well. I've also taken on the task of learning German, and got a very good book on it too, which has quizzes and tests, then a final exam. I find that a great way to teach someone.

The Journal's mood is still unchangable, and I changed my avatar again to a picture of Benjamin (A character from Lost), since he's just plain awsome.

Only two pieces have passed my print inspection: Zantou Rohan and Kreeture. Dreamcatcher, Nameless, and Manzanar Darkfang will be going through a second inspection tomorrow to see if they're actually worthy.

I'd advise to not buy anything yet, for the Print Submission rules say that they'll only pay me through Paypal, and I don't have one yet. Yet at the same time, the site hasn't told me anything, as if they'll send me a check through mail. I want to be safe than sorry, so if you want to purchase something, wait until I give the thumbs up in my journal. For now, my shop will slowly begin to form.

Also know that I have the Standard Print Program. So read this before purchasing:

"deviantART will not review Artwork submitted for inclusion in the Standard Print Program until there is an attempt to purchase the Artwork through the deviantART Shop. deviantART will use commercially reasonable efforts to approve or reject such Artwork within one business day after such an attempt, provided that the attempt to purchase such Artwork occurs during deviantART"s normal business hours. If the Artwork is rejected, you and the purchaser will be notified and the transaction will not be completed."

"Factors affecting approval include, but may not be limited to, image aspect ratio, quality, resolution, bleed edge, and whether the Artwork complies with deviantART"s policies regarding the submission of Artist Materials, generally, as set forth in the Submission Policy and the requirements for submission of Artwork as set forth in this Agreement." - Prints Agreement Section #7

I have submitted the pieces that're now prints in large scanned files, so that lack of DPI or resolution will most likely not be a problem.

I'm not really expecting this big kickass store with 30+ sales a month to form, but something is something. I'll always be in need of some cash I can make off of doing what I love.

Hopefully with a tablet my digital painting can go through the roof. I'm sick of this mouse.

I may be enabling some pieces in my gallery to become prints very soon. So if any of my deviant watchers are actually interested in buying something in my gallery, just go to the deviation and click on a "Request as Print" button. I'll only be selecting a few of my best pieces to become prints. Not to mention if they're of bad quality, I'll have to scan them again and clean it up to make it identical to the original.

If my art piece is one I had drawn from eyeballing a photograph (Mostly the ones in the Human Body category of my gallery, especially the Alias portrait) I'm not submitting it as a Print. The only way to get it is to buy the original, and they're all chilling on the walls of my living room for now.

The more print requests for a piece, the most likely it will be submitted for sale. Those available for prints will not have the thick black border with my watermark and URL. They will also be enhanced and more crisp than before, with no black dots or scanner crap on the paper.

In turn, they'll have the DA watermark instead for security reasons, but I'm sure that doesn't appear on the print itself.



I'm thinking about having a contest... hmm...
